Should You Buy Links?

Sometimes you have to pay to become popular

Inbound links to your site's pages from quality websites will help your search engine rankings. Search engines look at what web pages link to you and what value those pages may have; they use this to determine your page's value and relevance to a keyword or search term. Some search engines also look at how relevant the entire site is to yours.

Since in most instances you cannot control who links to your web pages, inbound links will not negatively impact your page, even if they are from "bad neighborhoods," web pages or websites that search engines consider worthless.

Purchasing links from some web directories and websites, especially if they are related to real estate, can be extremely beneficial and economical. If you are the owner of a new website, purchasing a few links will be essential until your own link building efforts take hold.

Even though every link to your web page counts in some way toward your total link popularity, you should not buy links merely for ranking purposes. Buying a link from a real estate directory may get you a referral or two directly from that site. This would be doubtful if your link is from an off-topic site bought merely because it has a high Page Rank.

Some paid directory links to consider:

Yahoo Directory
Business.com
International Real Estate Directory
Real Estate Library
Real Estate ABC
REALS
