The following list of search engines and web directories has been fully examined and reviewed. While some of these sites may be of less value than others, listing in any of them can only help your long term website success.

As you never know where your email address will end up, you should use a secondary email address when you submit. Some search engines require validation from a domain-based email before they will list you. Talk to your webhost or website provider about setting up an email account for you to use.

Many of these directories require you to submit site descriptions and keywords and other information about your business. Most of them restrict the number of keywords or keyword phrases submitted.
